I am the face behind Bow Valley Weddings. This company is my baby and I love pouring my heart and soul into it.
After 3 years in the wedding industry, I'm still not tired of eating wedding cake. I thrive on busy wedding days and while I sometimes I complain about my job (who doesn't?), most of the time I come home glowing after a long day at work.
With about 100 weddings under my belt, I can provide you with the necessary insider knowledge to make your dream wedding become a reality.

Originally from Germany, I moved to Canada in 2017 after I met my Canadian boyfriend while travelling around Spain. Back then I lied to him and said that Canada had always been on my list of places to visit. In reality, Canada had never really been on my radar and I even thought that ".ca" stood for ".California".
Canada and I were love at first sight though, despite the initial rainy winter in Vancouver and the -40C days in the mountains. Canmore has been my home ever since 2020 and I deeply love the epic mountain scapes that surround us, the community they foster and the outdoor recreation that they offer.
I love people and people watching and spending time with friends indoors and outdoors. My boyfriend Max and I are still together (engaged even!) and we enjoy life to the fullest at home in Canmore and while travelling around the world.
I don't believe in stupid questions.
Most of us plan a wedding one or twice or maaaybe three times in our lives. Wedding planning is unchartered territory for a lot of people. I'm not into soft smiles.
I love seeing my brides and grooms have fun. When I see your widest grins, I know I've done a good job.
In order to allow you to enjoy your day to the fullest, my timelines will always have a little bit of wiggle room built in for you to take more time doing whatever it is that you currently enjoy doing. I like to transition to a time flow whenever possible but will hold you to a schedule when it's needed.
I don't believe in hard and fast rules.
Your day, your money, your rules. Every couple, their circumstances, budget and goals are different. I'm here to help you bring your vision across the finish line. I value open communication and honesty when it comes to how you want your day to unfold and whom or what to pay special attention to.
